Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting to the correct forum but I'm new to BBF!

I have a problem with my 8310 Curve - some SMS messages are not being received. Specifically, I used to receive SMS alerts for transactions I conduct with my bank, they are not being delivered I have contacted the bank and they assured me that the three alerts I was expecting have been sent. I seem to receive other SMS messages fine.

I think it's a problem with the BlackBerry itself, is there a junk mail filter or something that's stopping me from receiving the alerts? I just got this BlackBerry last week and so I'm new to it! Please let me know what you think the problem could be, or if you've heard of this before.

Although I don't think this is the issue, look at options
Security
Firewall

and make sure SMS messages are not being blocked.

There is no spam filter for SMS. If you are getting everyone else's SMS messages, it is someyhing with the bank's system.
