Truly, I have looked and looked for the answer to this, but...
Is there a program I can run on my PC (WindowsXP) that mirrors the calendar and address book on my Curve?

I've been using Outlook to backup my contact data, but I really dislike it, and don't even use it for my email. I don't want to use my yahoo address book for a variety of reasons. I haven't found a calendar program I want to use, so I don't have a backup for the data on my Curve.

Years ago, I had a palm and they had software that looked and acted like the treo sw. You just added data on the PC and synced it onto the treo and visa versa.
Does blackberry, or another vendor, have a simple, straightforward app to do this? I've looked without success--why is this so hard to find? (Sorry)

welcome to the forums. Outlook is what the PIM on the BlackBerry is modeled after. it is the closest approximation of the PIM on the blackberry. Its hard to find because most people use outlook, or lotus notes, etc for the data.
