Default yahoo addresses on BB, not PC - 04-28-2008, 08:44 PM

OK. I feel like I'm beating a dead horse over here. I have 4 emails: 2 yahoo, 1 comcast and 1 from my website (1and1 host). I'm able to get all 4 addresses to forward to my BIS address so I get instant emails on my BB. (Finally!). Now, my issue is the yahoo emails are NOT getting loaded onto my PC. Only the BB. Is there a quick fix for this?

Do you get them via the web or Outlook. If you get them on Outlook you need to go into advanced settings in Outlook email accounts and leave a copy on the server.

I don't get them in outlook OR see them on the web. Only on the BB. Crazy!

i am willing to bet it has to do with your forwarding settings. make sure it says keep a copy in the inbox. also, why would you forward ALL the emails to your blackberry.net email? you can link them all to your BB and yahoo/gmail are fairly instant.

With yahoo there are no forwarding settings. It's either forward or don't forward. No copy options. I don't find yahoo to be fairly instant. Maybe I'm just completely impatient. Many of you just leave yahoo as pop and not forward?

Ah again missed that. Once you foward Yahoo to another account it will not show up on the Yahoo server. I got this right from Yahoo.

I tried it again and you are absolutely right - it's pretty instant.

Ugh now the mail being forwarded from my website address to my BIS address are not being fowarded again. When I forward them to my yahoo address it get delivered to my BB but then I get them TWICE on my PC.
