I went through the steps of cleaning the trackball. The light turned off after I put it back in but now it is off. Whta do I do?

Does it come on if you place your finger over the light sensor (located with the notification LED at the top right of the BB?)

My BB Curve is low on battery.. I plugged it into the wall and the trackball light turned on.

Maybe it was that?

I do not know how to check the light sensor, though.

hmm, i unplugged the phone and plugged it back in and it wont turn on again

i did a battery pull, and the light turned on when the phone did..
I noticed that the keyboard also turned on. I didnt realize it was off before as well. i guess it's the same light?
After I put my Sim Card PW, the light is back off and wont turn on.

Again, it's light sensitive. Take it into dark room and see what it does.

ok. i took it into a dark room and the lights of the keyboard/trackball turned on again. as soon as I am in the light, they are off again.
Is it always like this and I never noticed, or is it programmable?

It's always been like that. You can't control it.
