Hi,

When I receive a new email the red LED flashs on my device and then go's off after a certain amount of time.

Is it posssible to set it so the LED remains flashing until you open the new mail??

You cannot change the setting. You may want to search for BB Alerts. It's a 3rd party application that let's you customize notifications and I am sure it will solve you issue.

Good Luck!

As noted above, Blackberry Alerts will solve the disappearing LED issue. I have been using it for more than a year now. I am very happy with it. IMO, it is one of my most important add ons to my BB.

Not only can you keep the LED blinking forever and ever, you can have different colors for Calls, Voicemail, SMS, PINs, Emails, etc. YEP...different colors that you might not have know that you had.

good luck

Oh, I am not married to them, but I got my version from Handango just search for Alerts...

Thanks for the reply's.

My BB is working with my works BES server. How can I identify if my BB IT policy will allow the above mentioned software to be installed?
I've download the .exe and its only 65kb in size, does that sound right?

Safe route...explain the situation to your BES Administrator and ask for permission to download this "Productivity and Organization Tool" or less
safe route, try and download and see if it works.
