Default A Little Help Please - Restoring from Backup!!?

Please Login to Remove!

I had a question about restoring from a backup - I have searched and cannot find answers to excatly what I am looking for.

I just started a new job, where they are using a BES - so I will NOT be syncing with Outllook via the destop software.

I backed up my 8300 (with the desktop software), and did the reprovisioning and wipe with new company's stuff. I want to get back SOME, but not all of my old data (contacts, bookmarks, etc) but i dont need old call logs, etc.

I am fairly new to Blackberry - 8 months or so (and LOVE IT!!!) - but, is it safe and stable just to pick and choose to restore only what I need through the desktop manager?

When I used a Treo in the past , this was not a safe operation. Please help!!!?

Thanks in advance
