Default What is the max size sd card for 8310?

Please Login to Remove!

I heard the max size micro SD card supported is a 2gb for the 8310. Is this true? Will it take a 4gb or even a 6gb? If so, will it slow the speed of the OS at all?

welcome sparrow04,

currently, the max that the device will be able to read without issue is 4gb. you will be able to use a mcuh higher capacity card with the release of the next OS upgrade, but unfortunately noone knows when it will be released.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

I am sure you will find a user that claims that her or she is using an 8 GB card which I would not recommend.

I have a 4 GB card in my 8310. Got it from newegg.com and thought it was a great deal at $19.99.

Here is the link
