No, you won't have to do anything like that.

Someone has told me that Sprint is testing 4.5 for their BlackBerry line-up, but I don't know.

Default Preloaded theme problems - 06-27-2008, 08:34 AM

Hey All,

I have a new Verizon Curve 8330. As soon as I got it activated and working, I upgraded to this new verizon OS. Everything went without a hitch except for the preloaded themes. I change the blackberry.alx file just like I normally do (add my vendor number in the quotes, i've even tried getting rid of the whole vendor string like some FAQs suggest) but they never seem to load onto my curve. I've tried it with and without the vendor.xml file still in it's proper location.

I also ensure to hit application loader each time just in case it doesn't see the needed changes right off the bat.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

So I guess nothing came from all of the speculation that we may be seeing 4.5 this weekend.

Hi everyone

I'm new to the blackberry curve world. I'm having problems with the media manager in my desktop manager. I'm using version 4.5.0.15. When I click on the media manager, the roxio for blackberry splash screen comes up and then I get:

A Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library popup box that says:

Runtime Error!

Program: C\program file\roxio\media manager 9\mediamanager9.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information

Any ideas on how to fix it?

I would try updating your version of 4.5 for starters, we are up to .66 version. not sure if that would have any bearing but you seem to be running a pretty old version.

Where do you get .66 version? If you go to the blackberry website, they don't even have that version.
