Blackberry 8310™ / Pkg:4.2.2.351, App:4.2.2.194 , Plt:2.5.0.44 (TIM ITALY)

I think this is the latest software for your device.

you can run any OS you want on your device as long as it for that device... meaning if the OS is for a 8310 then you can use it... you cant use a 8320 OS on your 8310... once unlocked always unlocked...

EDIT:

you can come here to this site for the latest OSs released... just look at the top of the page in the 8300 sections for all the latest OS postings

also i would suggest, unless there is a bug or something wrong with your current OS then i wouldnt bother upgrading the OS... if it aint broke, dont fix it

well, is att the only one that does the 8310? So that means i can only upgrade from ATT? I found that if you goto BlackBerry you can PICK your carrier and download from rim direct! you dont need to have an account with att/tmo/etc..
