Default Serious Question i cant figure out

Please Login to Remove!

Ofcourse to some this may seem comical. But i've just recently sent in my old Curve and it was replaced through a warranty. So far so good, no freezes, i dont have to take out the battery 10 times a day, BUT when i try to compose a new email it tells me "no message services configured. You will only be able to save draft", when can i configure this option so that i can send e-mails out with my old [email address] email?

Its been bugging me for the past 5 hours, i had to come on here and get help from the pro's

Thanks in advance.

Unsupported Browser log in and resend your service books
if that doesnt work go to options > advanced > service books > delete all service books there (except provisioning) and then do a battery pull. then resend service books from the above link

1, get a real email address like gmail. The blackberry.net addresses have NO spam filters, etc..

2. Did you put the new PIN of the new device on your TMO account?

3. Once you have done that, you should get the Service Books to enable your email.

Wirelessly posted (8700g)

And edit your original post and obscure your email address or remove it.

I second the motion on not using the carrier supplied email address - tmo.blackberry.net. Other than no SPAM filter, you do not own the address, so you cannot take it with you when and if you change carriers. It can also change with no notice if the carrier so desires. And finally, if there is a BIS/RIM outage, there is no alternate way to check messages. You have to use the BB for that and if some are deleted, then they are gone for good.
