So, I installed Google maps 6 months ago and have been loving it until it forced me to update the software.

Now I get this message : Uncaught exception:Access to the Persistent Store is not permitted by your IT policy.

What in the world does this mean? My IT group claims that use of the GPS isn't currently allowed. That is a lie since I have been using it for the last 6 months.

I have tried to install LiveSearch but I get a java error message when I try to use it.

I have used Nav4All but I don't care for it.

My current version is 4.2.2.170 and AT&T is the provider.

I drive a lot for business and have been lost without this resource...as well as being upset.

I've read about someone else having a similar issue, there is a line in the it policy that does not allow third party apps, I'm not sure what the question is though
