Ok, well I seem to have a problem, does anyone have a link to the most recent OS for the 8320 (T-Mobile Curve). I don't appear to have 'General Options' under 'Options' so cannot disable the 'dial from home screen' feature.

Also getting sync issues when trying to update the calendar, resulting in premature termination of the process.

Any help would be appreciated!

Charlie, yours is not an OS issue: press the GREEN phone dial key... then Menu > Options > General Options...

Additional detail on your sync issues would be welcome.

Yep, "General Options" for that is not under the main Options. It's in the phone app's Options. No need for an OS change.

Thank you guys, I got the 'Dial from Home Screen' issue resolved, thanks to the redirection to 'General Options', now I just need to figure out why the calendar sync keeps failing.

I have reset (flushed) the phone and I have reinstalled the Desktop Manager, but if I enable calendar synchronization it bombs out on me, w/o calendar sync, everything else (contacts, notes, etc...) updates just fine.

Anybody any ideas what events on my calendar could be causing this - that is, could it be past meetings, meetings beyond a certain date (past or future), meeting priority status (high/low), and so on... the list is near endless, I know, but maybe someone knows that a certain meeting setting triggers this issue.

Attachments in the calendar will trigger a sync failure...

Excellent work JS - thank you, I renamed the intellisync directory as detailed in the last part of those notes and now it is working - thank you so much! Been a long-standing problem for me!
