Default Unknown error report - HELP

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8310 running the 4.2.2.351 / 4.2.2.194 Tim Italy OS and Desktop Manager 4.3.

I get an Intellisync error when it tries to sync my organizer info. It says "Unknown error reported".

I've tried a lot of things to fix it - reinstalling Desktop Manager, reinstalling the OS, downgrading Desktop Manager to 4.2, downgrading the OS, trying different mixes of the two, but nothing helps.

I really need to sync since I can't get wireless calendar syncing to work for some reason (my BES admin can't figure it out).

Any thoughts?

Anyone? This is a huge issue for me. I thought there would be some quick responses.

Wirelessly posted (8700g)

I'm betting it is something boogered up in whichever data base is being processed when it errors. You may be able to find it manually (look for empty calendar or address book entries, empty first or last name fields, etc . . . something that is odd). Look at the desktop manager log for clues. Maybe using desktop manager (backup/restore > advanced) to delete the data base on the handheld, then resync may fix it.
