Default Internet Expolorer 6.0 as a browser?

hi, 1.) just wondering if theres an Microsoft IE browser that is avail, for the curve to use to browse the internet

2.) Can I delete aplications such as yahoo messenger or google talk? they downloaded auto, when i got the data plan, thx

Set emulation to IE explorer as your browser:
Browser > options > browser configuration > Emulation mode > IE explorer.

Yes, you can delete those applications if you don't use them.

the browser thing worked, thx
when i use bb desktop manager and goto install/uninstall apps, i only have option to uninstall: facebook, google maps and something else, I dont see the other apps there that i want to uninstall such as google talk or yahoo messenger

thats because they arent installed, they are service books... the best you can do is highlight them on the home screen and click menu and choose hide...

You need to also install the OS package to your computer so the Desktop Manager will recognize it on your device. You can also delete applications from the device directly by going to Options >Advanced Options >Applications. You can delete right from there. If the apps aren't there then look in Options >Advanced Options >Service Book. Some of the homescreen icons are just links to download the software and they are in the form of service books. You can simply delete the service book for the icon. If they come back then use Cory's suggestion above.
