Does anyone know if you can get the "pearl" to be different colors on the curve?

Only if you color it. The LED is white.

Theres a thread elsewhere about this.
Lift out the pearl 'unit'
Cut a tiny square of scotch tape and colour it with a SHARPIE pen
Place it over the LED
Replace the pearl
Some of the results are really cool!
