Well, that bites. I'm not unhappy with the current speeds being that this is a mobile devie, but only an idiot would not want access to the latest technology!
I read another report that stated only voice would be released during the initial T-Mobile 3G launch. | | Offline

| It's much faster. Go to starbucks or T-Mo store and link up to WiFi and start browsing.
And I might be in the minority, but I am not that excited about the 3G. Perhaps if I had a wireless card for my laptop, but for my phone, it's nothing that will be that beneficial. | | Offline

Do I have to pay extra for the WiFi at like say Starbucks or is that included in my Data plan I have. | | Offline

| At the hotspots...I think it's ok, but then you have to pay $19.99/month or so...
At home, I have unlimited (so no $9.99 service @home) and I can connect, it seems to be working flawlessly (FINALLY) for just data/internet, if I try and use the phone....it's complete crap. | | Offline

| Huh wha who? My TMo curve connects to TMo hotspots for free without issue; UMA plays nice, and I can even tether over WiFi, so as long as I have my BB, I get free WiFi at any TMo hotspot. | | Offline

| Tmo Hotspots seemed to be picked up automatically everytime I'm near a starbucks and I don't pay for that service. Any other place that has Wifi I scan for it under "Set up Wifi".
Accessing wifi is free. I do it everywhere I go to circumvent the slow internet speeds of Tmobile. | | Offline

Accessing wifi is free. I do it everywhere I go to circumvent the slow internet speeds of Tmobile. | I haven't tried it since I dropped the Hotspot plan, but I was *told* you would need a username/password that you get with the 19.99/month... | | Offline
