Default Problem downloading VZ Navigator

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All,

Just received my 8330 from verizon this morning and am trying to download
VZ Navigator. Keep getting the following message:

"This device is currently not authorized to access Dial-up Networking
services"

Called tech support and they had no clue.

Anybody else experiencing this problem ??

Try a battery pull with the BB powered on and try and download again.

Tried the soft reboot with no luck. Still getting same message.

I too have been having problems downloading vz navigator. Customer care said to go to a store and have them update the current bes program.

Maybe because its not "officially" launched? I dont know about that but maybe this weekend it will get better because I heard people are having trouble with MMS on it as well. Maybe when it launches in stores on Friday or Monday, it will work. My two cents.

The announced launch dates for the Verizon Curve/8330 had been 5/9/2008 for B2B, and 5/12/2008 for B2C..

even though some have purchased early via customer service, and it does now appear on the B2C web site for order... Until the official launch dates, don't expect everything to work properly.

We've already seen the MMS service books not work right for the past week... and have now been somewhat fixed.

VZNav service books do not appear to be available yet either.

I had an issue downloading the app as well. Heck, im not even sure ive got the correct version OS on my phone. I did the update anyway and im not even sure it updated...haha
