I am a new blackberry owner. When I have my outlook open I do not get emails to my Blackberry. Is there a way to get emails without leaving a copy on the server? I am not on a BES server.

Nope. Not unless you turn off Outlook.

Why are you against leaving mail on the server?

Well, if there's no email on your mail server for BIS to pull then how will it get email? Not trying to be catty but it should be pretty straightforward if you think about it. BIS doesn't interact with your PC at all -- just the mail server.

I guess there is another option. You'd have to set up a forwarding rule in Outlook to forward to your *.blackberry.net address (or another account integrated with BIS). Seems like a very awkward setup to me though. You'd have to ensure that Outlook was open on your PC otherwise you wouldn't get mail with such an arrangement.
