Default HTC Touch or 8330?

Please Login to Remove!

I just got the HTC Touch a few days ago because my Pearl would delete my text messages. Yes, we tried the new software from RIM and it did no good. After replacing several phones and several long phone calls with Verizon and RIM, I decided to get the HTC Touch. I have had it for a week and have mixed feelings about it. I LOVED!!!! the pearl except for the text messaging problem.

Do you guys think I should swap out the HTC for the 8330? I really miss having a keyboard, even though the HTC looks "cool." Can anyone compare these two phones?

Well I had the HTC Herald (T-Mobile Wing) prior to my 8320. Let me tell you this, the 8320 blows away the windows mobile phones out of the water. Just the fact that my phone won't crash or need to reboot 18 times a day is worth the upgrade. BB8330 is the way to go imo.

The Pearl deleting the text messages could have been a memory issue also.

Yeah, except the fact that we tried it with ZERO apps installed and no pics....it would erase my call log also. RIM couldnt figure it out. And I would have maybe 30 calls in the call log and maybe 10 text messages.

Strange behavior from that pearl, they didn't give you another one to try?

Three others. All with the latest software from RIM.

Pearl is gone....Now, back to the question HTC Touch or Curve?

I have the HTC Touch Dual, and I love it. Tons of RAM, installing apps to the memory card, 3G. I have a friend that has the Touch and he went back after a month to his pearl, because he couldn't type as fast on a touch screen as he could on a normal keyboard (hence me getting the dual).

honestly... I don't know if I'd go back to my Curve. I miss it, it's gorgeous keyboard and it's masculine size, but ... I don't know. WM6 with Touchflo is awesome

I gave up on the VX6900 from Verizon (aka HTC Touch) because of poor reception and battery life. I had dropped calls and missed calls with it, so it couldn't stay as my primary personal phone.

I got my Demo Curve from VZW... I love it as much, if not more than my T-Mo 8320!!

Yeah, the signal strength is not as good as my pearl. I think I will go down to VZW and trade it in. Does anyone know when they will be available in store?
