Default SMS stays on Messages section

Please Login to Remove!

I'm using the Today theme and usually when I get emails they stay on the main screen under
the Messages heading until they're read.

I got an SMS yesterday and read it but it's stay on my Messages section and won't go away.

How do I mark it read so it'll disappear?

go back to the message and mark it as unopened. then read it again and it should go away. if you have already tried deleting the message then the only way is to soft reset your phone...removing battery and reinserting.

Battery Pull usually solves this .. I wish that RIM would fix this glitch, keeps me from using the Today Theme.
