You'll need to access your att account and re-send "service books." This will enable the browser. I use t-mobile and they require a login into their site and then to "resend" service books.

If that doesn't work go here with the desktop web browser

http://www.operamini.com/download/sms/

and send a download for the opera browser to your phone number which can be used while you troubleshoot your BB browser issue.

It doesn't sound like you have a BlackBerry Data plan. A generic data plan will not allow you to use the browser.

Browser won't show up unless you have a data plan. I suggest you get one ;)

it's rather simpel if u work for a company and it'sur buisiness phone it could be bes ....
but if it's not bes there are possibilities you have the wrong (or no?!?) data plan or for some reason you don't have the service books.
if you are on the wrong data plan ( but got one) you could still go to the internet via opera for example ........but better: get a bb data plan

BB Data Plan is 30 Dollars, Media Works will not work. I suggest that you also ask for the 9.99 messaging .. It's 200 messages and unlimited mobile to mobile. If you don't want that AT&T charges 5 dollars for 200, 15 dollars for 1500, 20 for unlimited.

From the sounds of it you have no Blackberry Data plan. What worked for your Blackjack does not work on the Blackberry. Sorry but a little of homework before the purchase would have saved you this trouble.

hey guys QQ, every time i get on BB browser, it ask me multiple times that it is "attempting to connect to a secured site but something about the certificate not being trusted." it takes me forever to get to a web site. Why is this happening, and how do i get rid of it?
