Hi,

When I delete an email from my PC the relevant email is not deleting itself from the BB (BES). The only way to remove it is to manually delete it from BB which some what defeats the object of having a BB.

The IT department at work is closed until Monday !!

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm no BES expert but could you check if wireless (or email) reconciliation is on or off?

Are you on a BES or are you using BIS? If you are on BIS then it wont delete necessarily, normally just being marked as read works.

I'm on BES. I have also checked the reconciliation and yes, it's switched on !

OK, try 'reconcile now' from Email menu on blackberry. If it does not do the trick- definitely talk to your IT folks and tell them even 'reconcile now' does not work.
