Default Audio clipping during call??!!

Please Login to Remove!

First post evar !!!

Ok yes I went through the FAQ section repeatedly... and am till at a loss.

Here's the scenario.. I fell asleep lastnight listening to music on Curve through headset. Woke up in morning to my alarm off the curve.

From the minute i left house.. only one earpiece works when listening to music.. when headset is removed and a call is made i hear a clipping, and can see volume bar on screen moving up and down??!! Also today i connected to a bluetooth device ( blueant car kit) and when i disconnected from it the media player started blasting one of my tunes, which by the way would not play out loud 10 min earlier. The parties on other end of line during call hear whats described as charlie brows teacher with slight squealing.

I am at an absolute loss.. i can pin, sms, mms and make calls.. but the audio is all over the place.

I removed battery sim and memory card and still nothing..

I am a heavy heavy heavy user and require my device functioning 24/7...

Anyone please have suggestions !!! I really need help here !!

Thanks !

What happens when you plug in the headset again?

I have the exact same problem with my curve. It happened after plugging in the cassette adaptor to headphone jack. Now I can't make a call without the audio going in and out like it is clipping. I tried plugging the jack back in and out lots of times and when it "connects" well I can hear the phone audio fine in car adaptor, but never in the handset speaker - it always clips. Several times it even started the voice dialing when I plugged in the adaptor (and no I wasn't pressing the side button). I've power cycled several times and just now finished a full firmware upgrade and reinstalled the applications and it is still doing it? Any suggestions?
Thanks
Zane
