Default Menu Tabs Showing Incorrectly?

Please Login to Remove!

I just got (well, Bell family plan. Three phones) an 8330 on...call it Friday. If I recall correctly, the tabs for Downloads and the Music Store were transparent, just like the ones for MSN, the setup wizard, and the full menu.

This is no longer the case for any of the three phones. Instead of having transparent backgrounds, the images for the Music Store and downloads are both backed by white rectangles.

Am I crazy, or is that not right?

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Go to options-theme and change your theme and see what happens.

What akosnitsky said, or have you changed wallpaper?

When you say transparent, you don't mean such as shaded, as in when an app is hidden?

I'd changed my background to the bridge thing, yes.
Transparent was a poor choice on my part. Um... well, sort of. The other tabs allow you to see the background through the part that isn't specifically the representative image.

I've changed the background back to the default blue. Let me see if I can get a clear picture of the screen.

I don't know about any bridge thing.

They just appear to be poorly designed icons, in my opinion. All those carrier icons i normally put in their own folder and hide them. There is rarely anything available on the carrier-pushed sites that is not available at a better (and free!) site anyway.

It's...uh (yay, short-term memory!)...a forest, and it looks like a warped bridge. Perhaps it's just a wooden path.

I really must look into the management of folders, more. It seems that there's lots to be done even within the base BB OS.

Let's just let that "bridge thing" pass... I have no idea to what you are referring.
