Default Wired Headphone Question

Please Login to Remove!

New guy here, had my Alltel 8330 for a few days and I am blown away by it.... After years of teasing other Crackberry users I'm now hiding my BB from them !!

Questionq please.

I have those Bose Noise Canceling Headphones I like to use on airplanes.

Q1 - Can I plug the Bose Headphones straight into my 8830, or do I need some type of adapter? I'm afraid to short something out.

Q2 - Can I disable the e-mail and telephone functions on airplanes but still listen to MP3s in-flight ??

Many thanks for any and all replies !!

Wirelessly posted (what does it matter?)

I'm not sure if the 8830 has a 2.5 or 3.5 mm jack if 2.5 then you'll need an adaptor. Yes you can disable email and phone and be able to use the BB's media player

You are going to want to turn the wireless connection off or you wont have a battery after an hour.

I have an 8830 but have special headphones but don't know the adapter size as well.

The 8330 uses the 3.5m jack. I am glad I did not guess because I would have guessed wrong.
