Default How do you Tether a BlackBerry curve?

Please Login to Remove!

Lately, I've been looking for a wifi service for this little laptop I'm going to purchase in a week or so. This is the laptop:

Newegg.com - ASUS Eee PC 2G Surf - Galaxy Black Eee PC Intel processor 7" Wide VGA 512MB Memory 2GB HDD Integrated Graphics - Laptops / Notebooks

I've bought a model for my daughter and my fiance got one recently as well. So I found out about this tethering option. Can someone help me how to figure out how to do it? On the laptop that I'm considering it comes with linux so I'm wondering what would I need to do to set this up? I've read this but it doesnt really cover my model since I use ATT/Cingular.

Using BlackBerry As Modem - BlackBerryFAQ

Can anyone help me out with this?

First you will need to call your provider and asked for a BB Tethering Feature (BB as in Blackberry) Once they provision you with the feature go to Google.com and type in the search box: blackberry tether linux

The first result you get is for a BB Pearl. Same stuff so click on it.

Wth i'll just provided the link:Tethering With Blackberry Pearl On Linux [Thibaut Colar's Home]

Follow instructions and see how it goes for you.
