I managed to get my Curve TODAY (YAY!!) at a Verizon store by telling them about the internet price, plus my corporate plan helped. I did add a line to a family plan for a new 2 year contract, but the matched the lowest price without me having to do a mail-in rebate.

I'm happier than a pig in mud. LOL, been waiting too long for the Curve!!

Typically adding the new line would get you the reduces price. They were good to you about the extra 50.00 instead of the mail in rebate. Hope you needed the extra line

Any idea where I would get the $50 mail in rebate if I didn't get one from my govt rep?

Just log into "my account", resource, rebate center and you can print the form from there.

I just got one today and I paid $100. That was after the Advanced Device Credit (-100), New Every Two (-100)... I think somehow I got jipped. Verizon rep told me I got the rebate instantly because of our corporate discount, but I don't see how. Plus I asked her to match the online discount and she told me it was the same as the Advanced Device Credit when it comes to BBs...
Anyone know if this is true?
Thx for your help.

-$50 NE2
-$100 ADC
-$50 Mail in Rebate
----------------
$99 total plus tax

Not too bad!

Yeah, I wish I could get one for those great prices. We have a corp discount, but I'm not eligible for new every two and I definitely don't need a third line. I would have to pay $419 outright....

Mine was 299.99 minus 200 credits and an additonal 50 mail in rebate so it comes to $49.99. I figure not to bad.

I think I got screwed, and appear to have the documentation to prove it.

I ordered my Curve this morning (replacing a venerable, albeit scarred, workhorse of an 8703e). Price was listed at $299, with a $100 NE2 discount and a $50 mail-in rebate (I saved the page as proof; both discounts are shown as applicable). On checkout, I noticed that the ADC was also included, for another $100 off. So with tax, my total came to $104.99 . . . with no indication of an additional rebate available.

In fact, the email confirmation I received contains the following statement:

"*An instant online discount has been applied to the phone price and cannot be combined with mail-in rebate offers."

I'm hoping that the box, due to arrive at my home tomorrow, will include a printed rebate form. Given the above, though, I'm very much doubting that will happen.

If you're getting the rebate and the $100 NE2 credit, how is the rebate handled? Were you provided with a link to the form, or did it come preprinted in the box with your Curve?

Thanks . . .

As a followup to my previous post . . . No, I didn't get screwed. The rebate form was in the box with my new Curve. It's been filled out and submitted with UPC and copy of receipt for a $50 rebate. That brings the cost of my Curve down to $54.99.

RIM is still offering the trade-up program, too. Given the condition of my 8703e, I could send that in for a ~$65 credit. Not sure I want to do that; keeping the 8703e around as a backup is probably a good idea.

Would many feel that its worth paying full price for the Curve? I am not eligble for any discounts.
