Do you have a data plan??

rsnadel 05-13-2008 05:16 PM

You don't specify who your carrier is...but assuming it's AT&T, go to this link:
register yourself to create an online account there, and set up your personal email through this website. Once you've done that, it will send the correct service books to your device to get you started.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Data plan
Its a monthly fee you pay to the carrier for use of email, internet and other items.

I think there is maybe a software of something missing on the phone because i dont have that email setting icon. Is that possible?

Sith_Apprentice 05-13-2008 05:48 PM

do you have a BlackBerry data plan or a standard data plan

LunkHead 05-13-2008 05:49 PM

Yes it is possible....

Pull battery for 30 seconds and see if that fixes problem....

Call you provider and ask them to resend your service books!
