No email setting icon
 

HI!!

I just got my blackberry today an really need to set up my emails for business...but i am stuck!
It says in the booklet and every instruction that i just have to go into the menu and go to the email setting icon-> i dont have it!! Where and how can i set up my email then or get that icon? :? :-(

Do you have a data plan??

You don't specify who your carrier is...but assuming it's AT&T, go to this link:

register yourself to create an online account there, and set up your personal email through this website. Once you've done that, it will send the correct service books to your device to get you started.

Must have a BB dataplan for BIS/Email?Internet however.

sorry to be so dumb but what is a data plan? This blakberry is more complicated than i thought

Yep! I know what u r talking about and i have registered with my carrier already. So what next..??

yes i have a data plan.
I think there is maybe a software of something missing on the phone because i dont have that email setting icon. Is that possible?

Yes it is possible....

Pull battery for 30 seconds and see if that fixes problem....

IF NOT

Call you provider and ask them to resend your service books!

Just tried the battery pull and nothing has changed. I will try my provider. Thanks for ur help, get back to u soon :)
