Default dead 8310

Please Login to Remove!

was doing a firmware update for 8310, i turn around and windows did a update and restart the computer. now the bb and suck on a white screen anyway of fixing it

devicemanager does not see my pin also

anyway of force reinstalling a firmware

Basically, you've bricked your bb. It's unfortunate. If you can, return it under your warranty. It's similar to bricking your computer's motherboard during a bios update, and having a power failure.
Have you tried pulling out the battery and switching it on again?

I can't think of anything else except for hacking it to reinstall the fw.

tried the battery stuff
has there been any post about haking the fw to get it to install?

Hi synchror. Have you tried this already?

What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ

I think there's still a chance to reload your OS after this and get your BB fixed. BTW, is the 8310 also yours? I see on your profile you have a 7100i. Good luck anyway.

Then you can just return it and ask for a new one.
There should be a returns policy right?

Just go back to the store, say it doesn't turn on, and hopefully they'll provide you with a new one. Whether that's ethical or not, it's up to you.

Try wiping with JL_cdr first

If that doesn't work follow the link posted above

Then try reloading the OS!
