Default Can you load a new version of service book thru desktop manager and mini-USB? - 05-15-2008, 02:22 PM

I am having problems with my unlocked AT&T 8300. I have Tmobile and it seems that the 8300 is not supported. I have SMS and MMS on my plan, I don’t have email plan. I cant receive or send MMS, so I called tmobile and they don’t know what to do because they don’t support the 8300, I called RIM and they ask me for a code which I don’t have, I browsed in several forums and bb webpage and someone said that I had to delete the service books and load the new service books. Can I load the new version of service books using desktop manager and mini-USB or it has to be done by email or MMS(I don’t have email and MMS doesn’t work). Where can I get the new service books for the 8300 that will be supported by tmobile. Any help, I don’t have much experience with BB and the terminology so please be patient.

Thanks.

Service books are sent OTA to your device from the service provider. If you go to

How to resend service books from t-mobile to a blackberry - Natalie's Blog

there is an explanation that might help.

Nothing matters, and what if it did?
