Some of the videos on m.youtube.com will not work because they have not been encoded 3gp. And for those of you who can't stream the videos, it is only available on the BlackBerries with WiFI enabled, or Verizon EVDO. If you are using EDGE it will not work with my experience.

Also, check your Browser configuration's emulation mode, and make sure it's set to "Blackberry."

I can't believe this whole thread is dedicated to helping someone make his bathroom happy time better.

ROFL!!!

I was laughing so hard almost spilled my drink!

That is the funniest thing I've read in the forums.

This sure beats carting in your midtower desktop into the bathroom stall to kill some time!

Too bad the 8320 can't get flash video yet

thanks for the multiple explanations numetheus, it makes sense now!
This thread just opened the window for someone who wanted to make a lot of money: "time passing" units. A bathroom stall-like construction with a browser LCD built into it. Can anyone say "WORKPLACE MORAL BOOST"?!? (and also SEXUAL HARRASSMENT LAWSUIT!!)

as numetheus stated earlier, as of now, only BBs with wifi allow you to watch youtube videos. for the specifics as to why read back a few posts

Yes, as explained in above messages. The only BlackBerries that support rtsp streaming of .3gp content are 3G BlackBerry units (current) on EVDO, or BlackBerry units using WiFI. Your 8310 has neither 3G or WiFI. So it won't work. On AT&T, the 8820 can do rtsp streaming. But, if you still want to go a about troubleshooting, make sure Emulation Mode is set to BlackBerry and Support Embedded Media is turned on. LOL If you get the protocol not supported error, then think in your head that Numetheus is shaking is head saying "told you so!"

Or ... you can keep trying ... your call. LOL

If you do that on the Blackberry, at least you won't get infected with viruses and password-stealing trojans, or fake security software, which is what you get for surfing for free porn on your PC.

I believe their community prefers to be called "porn enthusiasts".. haha. I guess you can't fault a guy for trying to help out fellow blackberry users
