Default Verizon Curve and 3.5mm headphone/mic port and supplied stereo earbuds/mic - 05-20-2008, 02:19 PM

has anyone tried using the supplied stereo earbuds/mic with their verizon curve? you have to push the plug in REALLY hard. just wondering if anyone else has this problem or if this is a defect with my device...or if this will go away with time as it's used more and more.

any input would be greatly appreciated!

I got one, can they be used to talk on the phone? I made a call with them but the other person was unable to hear me. I could only hear them.

Wirelessly posted

Maybe you got a defective pair? Mine worked fine when I used them... I generally just the headphone jack for music though, not for talking on the phone.

Unfortunately, my curve came with the old 2.5mm headset. I had to send it back and get a replacement. VZW was very accommodating so if you have a problem with the headset, I would say call them and get another. It didn't cost me anything.

well i don't know if it's the headset or the blackberry curve. there might not be anything wrong anyways...it might just be a tight fit since it's brand new. who knows...
