I read the directions and they say to not turn the phone on for 24-48 hrs after installing them, but I can't be w/o my BB for that long.

Give it about 30 minutes... Then you should be good, it takes time for all the bubbles to work there way out, but you can use it.

Yea, I've used bse for my ipod touch and you can use it a little bit after the application. No worries.

I would wait 30-60 minutes before turning it on, and at least overnight before putting it in a pocket or another case or something like that - it can still peel off relatively easily before its has had at least a few hours to dry.

I've put on probably 2 dozen BSE skins already for myself, family, and friends, and I've decided 30-60 minutes is all you need. Depends on how much soap and water you use for the application actually. The more soap/water the more time it needs to dry, so closer to 60 minutes in that case.

The best indicator is to check the top edge of the skin after you've applied it. Once the screen portion is dry, see if the top tiny flap can easily stick down to the phone by pressing it down in the palm of your hand. If it doesn't stick down perfectly and starts to peel up a little, it needs a good hour to dry before trying to stick it down again and then being able to use the phone.

Good luck!

Is it easy to get the skins off? I put mine on and it looked fine, but now after 2 hrs, it looks like there's a smudge on the screen part and it's annoying as hell! I pushed on it and it didn't help so it's not a bubble. I'm gonna pull it off and reapply another BSE screen skin on my BB.

Easy to get them off, but after two hours, if you peel it off, I'm thinking it will probably stretch and won't look good if you try to re-apply.

I'd wait a day. Sometimes it takes 24 hours for what looks like a smudge to disappear. I've had a little air that looked like a smudge and not a bubble and it went away. I've also put ones on that have had small bubbles for almost a week and the last one I put on had no bubbles at all. I think letting the water and soap solution sit for awhile helps before wetting the skin. I put an 8310 BSE on my 8330 before they were available and it came off with no problems.

Yeah I'll let it sit for a day or so...if it still looks bad, I'll pull it and put another BSE on...
