Red face Probably another stupid question...

Please Login to Remove!

HI!!!
On the main screen there are 5 icons....is there a way to change those? By change I mean change them to ones I use more, like address book etc. And how do I download themes..,.I'm really scared I'll screw something up and mess the whole phone up so I haven't downloaded anything to the phone. Thanks for all the help...I know these are really ignorant questions, I just don't want to screw up the phone!!

"No question is stupid!" haha Anyone remember that from grade school? Now as an employee of a top litigation firm you dare not ask stupid questions.

Hit the berry button, then hit the berry button again. You will have the option to move any icon as your little heart desires. Enjoy!

Yes. Click on the applications icon and it will show a bunch more. From there select the icon you use the most, click the Blackberry button and select move. Move the scroll until you get to the spot where you want that icon. Click the scroll again...

Wirelessly posted

Hi.
Move the 5 icons you want to the top row of the desktop and these 5 will show on your homescreen.

The main screen shows the first five icons on the full list. To rearrange the list:

1) Highlight your preferred icon.
2) Press the Blackberry button (the button to the left of the trackball).
3) Select "Move".
4) Scroll to the position where you want the icon.
5) Press down the trackball.

I hope this helps.

Welcome to the club.

You can download themes by going to any site that has them. Make sure you're getting themes for your phone (8330 or curve) they won't work if you download them for another model. Most are zip files just extract them to a folder and open up your Desktop Manager for your Blackberry. Click on the application loader button and chose to add files. Browse for the folder that has your themes and DM will load them for you. After that just go to the Options icon (the wrench) and scroll down to themes. Load the theme you want and viola! All set.

Note that themes take up memory and since you can only have one at a time, I recommed only loading one theme at a time. If you don't like a theme you've downloaded, just remove it. You'll save a ton of space that way.

Let me know if it works
