I was annoyed that my BB didn't automatically alert me every 60 seconds if I missed a call or message 'cause my super old phone did that and it was great for those times when I say was washing dishes and the phone was in the other room so I didn't initially here it ring, but then it would beep a single loud beep every 60 seconds until I heard it and picked it up to check it.

Why a such advanced phone/pda with a ton of options in the alert category doesn't come standard with this, I don't get, but I did see that BB Alerts can be bought to add this feature. However on the handango site it tells me BB Alerts isn't compatible with the 8330. I wanted to see if anyone has tried it and if it works okay. The only thing more annoying than not having it would be to purchase it and it doesn't work!
