Default Destroyed SIM? - 06-02-2008, 07:09 PM

Hey I just bought a new blackberry curve 8310 from ebay to replace my old one, upon start up it asked me for a pin and a PUK number. Not knowing what it was I tried many possible defaults with no luck and now my "chances" to insert the PUK have expired. It also says "BLOCKED SIM" now, is my sim fried?

If it helps im with rogers wireless.
Thanks.

Your carrier could have provided the PUK code for you, but since you used up all of your attempts to unlock the SIM, it's probably permanently locked, and you'll likely need a new SIM.

Call the carrier... maybe there's something they can do for you.

Wirelessly posted (my new touch button BB)

The sim is likely done

PUK can be given to you by the carrier
