Default why cant i back up my blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

sup all.... i was trying to backup my files yesterday but all of a sudden i get this message "The data was not recognized by the device" why should i do? anyone ever have this problem... it was working fine before... any suggestions? should i reinstall everything all ovverrr?? thanks guys

I would first reboot the BB (remove the battery, replace and reboot) and reboot the PC as well, and try again.

i did.. all that... rebooted my phone with the battery out and rbooted my pc..... still hasnt recognized my blackberry

Well your error says data was not recognized by the device, so it should be seeing the device just fine. At what point do you get the error? If the DM did not recognize the BB device, you would not be able to click the backup button.

right after RMS data... when its backing up recieving messages it gives the error .... you think i should restore my blackberry you think that will help?

I would uninstall 4.3 and download and install version 4.2, SP 2, withOUT the media manager software. 4.3 remains buggy with a lot of users.

ic its very frustrating... i didnt kno it had glitches like that darn... do u kno when they are coming out with the new desktop manager... thanks J for everything tho.... ill keep you posted if i figure out a way to fix this problem..

I know the 4.5 Desktop Manager is in beta testing, not out, I don't know when.

Has it in the past backed up completely, no error? What changed on the device since then?
