Default Opera on Verizon 8330

I read the compatibility on the Opera website and it states that it is not for Verizon BB Curves. I don't like the browser that came with the BB. Does Opera work on the 8330 or is there a 3rd party software that emulates more conventional web browsing?

I have the latest version of Opera Mini on my verizon bb curve and it works great. It says it cant detect your phone when you go to mini.opera.com but click the suggested link and you'll be straight.

Enjoy.

yep, works just fine on my curve - MUCH better than the default blackberry browser IMO.

The default browser isn't bad if you set different emulation (e.g. IE). The new Opera is miles better than the horrible prior release. I have it on my phone and it too didn't detect which BB I had. Just download for the BB and you're fine.
