Default Message Indicator LED Not Turning Red - 06-04-2008, 09:12 PM

Hi,

My Curve blew up & I got a new one via warranty replacement. On setting up the new one, I've noticed that LED Indicator does not flash RED when I get a new message.

The star icon shows up on the mailbox, but the LED remains green.

I've checked every setting I can think of to make sure message indicator is set to on/yes & nothing fixes the issue. I've also pulled the battery & sent down new service books.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Adam

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Adam,
You may need to reinstall the OS for the purpose of reinstalling the profile cod.

Try a 3rd party program to reset your LED setting something like BlackBerry Alerts

No More Palm
For blackberry language support www.drzahwa.com

Default I'll try - 06-04-2008, 09:35 PM

Thanks for the tips - I'll give it a whirl. Not exactly sure about how to go about re-installing the OS, but the 3rd party aspect should be feasible.

Thanks!
Adam
