Default Dead air

Please Login to Remove!

Hi -

I kind of looked around for this topic, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I've had my Curve since January and haven't had a problem, but a few times over the past week, the display says I'm getting good reception, but when I go to make a call, I get dead air and the person's phone I'm calling never rings. It's just dead quiet. When I turn the phone off and restart it, it starts working again. On top of that, someone said they called me today, but they didn't leave a message, and I don't have missed call in my call logs. What I'm looking for is to know if AT&T is having known issues, or if my BB is having issues and I might have to have it replaced.

Thanks,

Philip

This happens occasionally to me. I usually just hang up and dial again and it goes through. It is possible to have someone call you and have it never go through to your phone. Network congestion can cause this.
