Default Zoom problem on an 8310

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have a refurbed 8310. I went to take a picture last night and I couldn't get the zoom to work. Its never had a problem before. I thought it was something wrong with the track ball, but the track ball works fine to navigate around the rest of the phone. I looked in the help section of the phone but it offered nothing besides using the track ball.

Someone please tell me that somehow a setting got changed and I can reset it so my zoom will work again.

Any thoughts?

The phone is only a couple of months old, it worked perfectly before last night, has never been dropped, etc.

Thanks for your help!

Have you tried a battery pull?

You might also try your volume up and down buttons on the side. This may at least rule out a trackball issue. But I suspect a btty pull will probably fix it.

Battery pull fixes it every time. Searching this forum for "camera zoom" will pull up dozens of threads on this exact issue.
