Default e-mail setup issues, need troubleshooting (8320) - 06-06-2008, 12:12 PM

when choose to "setup internet e-mail' on my 8320 i get the following error

"A problem occurred while trying to render the page"
and i can't figure out why.

Troubleshooting so far:
1. I've uninstalled any alternative browser, and cleared out "wap.voicestream.com" from my VPN settings.

2. I've tried every "browser" setting and and made i can use the internet normally

3. i've ran multiple network diagnostics

4. i've tooken out and reinserted my battery multiple times and tried the above steps before and after

I would like the function to e-mail, it's fairly useful and important to me personally, if there is anything anybody can think of please help me.

well i have the t-mobile data plan. Do i need a separate data plan bought from blackberry? I've heard of the enterprise e-mail plan, but like...i just have gmail or whatever.

edit:
ok...well, yeah i just noticed it's different with every carrier and spring(i think) is the only one that includes the BlackBerry Internet Service Plans with the phone service. I can download gmail app and stuff but i can't send media over the e-mail txt only. Anyone know of any apps i can have a fully functional e-mail without paying for the BlackBerry Internet Service?
