help with browser

hey whats up? i have a curve with verizon and i just have not been getting emails... i then found out the i do not have a browser icon any longer. the berry states that there is no browser config service book entries. i have not done anything but take tha battery out and change it. i can send emails but not receive them. can anyone help me please???????????
