hey guys,

just got my new 'curve' and i thought it would be good to sign up to the site and start learning...
my first questions are:
1. what cool tweak did you guys operate on your device that you think is worth sharing?
2. how do you choose a different tune for a call and an sms or e-mail?

Tips?

My favorite tip is the homescreen shortcuts.

Allows me to hide 7-8 application icons off my homescreen and saves a whole lot of scrolling.

First thing I did two weeks ago when I got my new curve was to max the free memory.

Next things I did was to accessorize - got the Seidio rubberized holster and the proclipusa.com mount solution for my car.

nice...nice....

any idea what is the biggest memory out there? i thought to get a 2gb but i have a lot of music and dont feel like having a BB AND an mp3 on me at all times.....

I think the AT&T will support up to 4GB.

It does... and rumor is that v4.5 of the OS will support 8GB micro SDHC.

weird, i just went down to the AT&T atore and they say they have SD 8gb card that would fit my curve 8130... they also said that it can support 16gb if i was to find it.

can this be true?

hmmm i'm not sure but i went to options-about and think i have OS v4.2.2.170 does that make sense? if it does should i upgrade to OS 4.5?

i see, thanks for that!
it's wierd but i changed the theme to 'dimension zen' and i'm experiancing slow reaction, is that normal? also when i changed back to the AT&T theme the "lock phone" icon was gone and i cant find it...i tried to "show all" but its not there...
i guess i'll go through the guide that was provided here for maxing free memory and see if that solves it...
