ok guys i'm new to the blackberry world and I'm loving it... but i've encountered an annoying problem.

some files get sent to me and i can't open them while some i can. for example....

i got sent a word document from one source: in the email i click on the attachement and "open attachment" is there in the menu.

I get a word document from somewhere else and i click on the attachment and the "open attachment" link isn't there. it's just "reply, forward, reply to all"

also the emails that I can open have the paperclip on the email icon, the others don't but they do have the [1 attachment] thing at the top of the email.

Wirelessly posted (BB 8330)

Were you able to open it on your pc. You have to make sure the attachment is in the email especially if it was forwarded from someone else.

hey sith,

in the email on the blackberry screen it says [1 attachment] at the top of it. however when u click on that it does not give you the option to OPEN.

it's very bizarre.
