Question How Reliable is YouMail Voicemail, Any Problems?

Please Login to Remove!

I have completely switched over to YouMail voicemail instead of my regular Verizon Wireless voicemail and I was wondering if this is a smart move? I strictly use my BlackBerry for work purposes and found YouMail extremely useful in the sense that even if I don't have service, I can still see who has called me, etc.

Has anyone had problems with it not working, or any problems? I just need to make sure 100% if someone leaves me a voicemail it doesn't for some reason not show up, etc.

Are there any plans in the future of YouMail stopping their free service, etc.?

Thank you!!

I have been using it for months now and have not had any problems at all. The only thing is the transcription is still in beta and is not that great, but it is getting better.

Been using it for months. Only issue I have is that it may not pick up all of the words in the message

I've ben using this for quite some time now and no problems. Every once in a great while the VM may still go to your VZW VM system. Just pay attention to your VM icon at the top of your blackberry. If a VM pops up make sure to check your VZW VM. Other than that the service has been perfect for me.

Transcription service is still in beta, but atleast its free.

Same as G-Patrick and Zerog.. (and Davidlleroy) been using it for many months... no issues. I love the ability to customize individual greetings, the ability to listen to my messages at my desktop computer and really love the DITCH caller feature...

and...the Transcription feature IS getting better...
