sorry guys,

i've tried searching & i'm not coming up with anything but people wanting to REMOVE the voicemail icons...

i don't seem to get the icons. i only get an SMS from fido saying that i HAVE voicemail but i wanna see my voicemail icon as i've never seen it, before! lol

any ideas?

I think it's an option within your carrier's voice message application. Call your voice mail and choose the settings option - With Verizon, there's an option to turn voicemessage indicator on or off. Not sure about Fido, but might be similar....??

i'll give it a shot. i doubt they'll be able to help me, though. i remember when i was asking them about 'technical' things; they'd tell me they wouldn't know. lol... it's too advanced for them.

No, I didn't mean call the carrier. Just dial in to your voice mail like you are checking messages or changing your greeting. There should be an option in there for displaying new message alert.

ok, i tried calling my voicemail box. there's no options to display msg alerts. i suppose i'll just have to stick to these guy sms msgs.
