Hello, tonight I bought ColorXP from handango.com and I downloaded the zip file to my desktop and I unzipped it to my desktop and I opened the folder and found a pdf file and two folders. One marked 4.2 and 4.3. (I have the verizon blackberry curve 8330) so I opened the folder named 4.3 assuming it was talking about the OS I opened up desktop manager ran the application loader and loaded up the program. I am new to blackberry and I didn't know the device needed to be re booted so I tried to use the program I opened it up and set it to on and the color I wanted and then clicked save now usually when I click save on a program it closes out and returns to the previous screen but when I clicked save on ColorXP it did nothing. So I closed it out and tried sending myself a sms text and it blinked red so I waited and tried it again after about 10 min. Still red so then I did a alt-shift-delete soft re boot and tried to turn the program on and save and do it again but once again it blinked red. So I went into options-advanced options-applications (to remove the program) and it wasn't even in the list! So I reconnected my blackberry to my computer ran the application thing and it automatically had ColorXP to be removed. So I removed it and it reset or re booted itself so then I tried to install what was in folder 4.2 instead but this time re boot right after. Exact same thing, sent myself a text and all I got was a red LED light.... I'm not sure what's wrong or what to do. I do have security (a password) enabled but does that matter?
I'm so confused, what should I do?

A password wouldn't matter in this case. I'm not sure of an exact fix for this because I have never used that program before, but I would see if you can text yourself with the program off of the phone. If it works, then instal it again from the computer (4.3 version). Then pull the battery after you remove the phone from the computer and see if it works
