Default email/SMS boxes...

Please Login to Remove!

Dear friends,

English is not my mother language so, please, forgive my way of speaking....!

I am the happy owner of a 8300 since a few days. It's a great "phone" !

I Just a question : when I receive an email, it appears both in the "mail box" and in the "messages box (where the SMS are)". Using, within the email box, the option -> general options -> "SMS and email box SEPARETED" does not change this. (( Sorry if the names I give are not exactly the same as on your Blackberry unit : I translate in english but my unit is speaking french ! ))
Is it normal ?

Thanks !!!

Regards.

Hi.

The messages box is a catch all for all messages so you will get your emails in there as well as in your email inbox, that is normal.

When you selected 'separate ' you should have got a separate sms/mms icon for text Messages which takes your text messages out of the messages box.
