Default Blackberry Modem - Dialup Prompt

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have got this new Blackberry curve with Tmobile and I have configured it as a modem and tested it , I wud not be using that so often , but I just wanted to have it as an emergency.

But my issue is when I am connected to internet with my laptop using Wireless(or)LAN (which is the what I will be doing always) the Modem dialup popup comes up prompting for a username and password and holds up until I cancel it .. and this is kind of disturbing my work.

Please help thanks

Check out the FAQ site. BlackBerry FAQ - BlackBerryFAQ They have a specific area for setting up your berry as a modem, and they list instructions for a lot of carriers, including dialing rules and username/passwords.

I did set it up and it is working ,

I am actually having a problem on my laptop that this dailup pops up often disturbing and trying to connect , even though I am already using my regular wireless on my computer.
